I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor and a certified clinical trauma specialist. I enjoy learning and walking with people as they grow and heal. While my work has an artistic feel, improvisational, and tailored to your specific needs and desires, it is consistently informed by and grounded in evidence-based therapies.

I am currently available for individual sessions to clients in NC, ages 10+. I am also available for workshops, classes, and groups.

Tashayla Lee
MFT Intern

Hi, I’m Tashayla Lee—a dedicated Marriage and Family Therapist Intern committed to helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges and build healthier, more fulfilling relationships. I believe that to truly support an individual, we must first understand the family system they come from. Our relationships shape us, and healing often starts with examining those foundational connections.

My approach to therapy centers on understanding family dynamics, addressing emotional and behavioral challenges, and helping clients implement meaningful, positive changes. I use evidence-based practices to guide the therapeutic process, ensuring that the tools and techniques we apply are grounded in research and proven to be effective. I also take a trauma-informed approach, creating a space where clients feel safe, respected, and empowered throughout their healing journey.

I specialize in working with individuals, couples, and families on a wide range of concerns, including individual therapy, marital and couples therapy, family and systemic work, breaking generational cycles, improving communication and conflict resolution, and developing clear goals and healthy relationship skills.
