Memberships
What is the Membership?
Our Membership is a non-clinical offering designed to support our community programs and practice operations. Membership provides access to member perks, such as discounts on events and classes and administrative benefits.
Membership is not therapy and does not include mental health treatment.
Does membership include therapy sessions?
No. Therapy services are not included in the membership fee.
Therapy sessions are billed separately at the posted self-pay or member session rate when services are provided.
Is membership required to receive therapy?
No. Membership is completely optional and is not required to receive therapy services.
Clients may choose to participate in membership independently of therapy, and clinical care is never contingent upon membership participation.
Why do members receive a reduced session rate?
Members receive a reduced self-pay session rate as a pricing structure, not because therapy is prepaid or included with membership. Membership fees support the operational and community aspects of the practice and are not applied to therapy sessions.
Can I be a member without being a therapy client?
Yes. Individuals may participate in membership without receiving therapy. Membership does not establish a therapist–client relationship.
If a member later chooses to pursue therapy, a separate intake process, informed consent, and clinical relationship are required.
About Therapy Services
What should I expect from therapy?
Therapy at Integrity Mental Health Services involves a professional therapeutic relationship focused on assessment, treatment planning, and evidence-informed mental health care. Sessions are confidential, structured, and documented in accordance with ethical and legal standards.
Therapy is collaborative and paced to your comfort level. Many people arrive unsure of what to say at first—that’s completely okay. Your therapist will help guide the conversation and work with you to identify goals and next steps.
Sessions are typically 50 minutes and are scheduled by appointment only. Frequency varies based on individual needs and may range from twice weekly to monthly. Therapy is billed per session, and participation in membership is not required to receive therapy.
To get started, simply call or email our office to ask questions and check availability.
Do you accept insurance?
No. We are a private-pay practice and do not bill insurance. Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements are made.
Do you offer pro bono or reduced-fee services?
Yes. Pro bono or reduced-fee services may be available based on clinician capacity and practice policies.
Pro bono services are offered independently of membership participation.

Are groups, Connections Club, and Events confidential?
Therapy groups follow clinical confidentiality standards.
Connections Club, events and other community offerings involve shared spaces where confidentiality cannot be guaranteed, and participants are expected to respect one another’s privacy. Participation in membership, community events, or Connections Club activities is not covered by HIPAA, and confidentiality protections differ from therapy services. Although membership and community offerings are non-clinical, clinicians remain mandated reporters under North Carolina law. Information shared that raises concerns about abuse, neglect, or imminent harm may require action.

No. Integrity Mental Health Services does not provide emergency or crisis services.
If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please call 911, go to the nearest emergency room, or contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.

How does the No Surprises Act apply to your practice?
As a private-pay practice, we provide:
-
Clear, upfront pricing

Membership fees are not healthcare services and are not subject to Good Faith Estimates.
